The David Fritz Golf Academy is excited to offer our Full Day Golf Camp at the Bathurst Glen Golf Course in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Our Award Winning Camp is open to children 7-13 years of age and offers golf instruction and activities under the guidance of a PGA of Canada professional. Children will enjoy learning the fundamentals of the game in a fun environment. Kids will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in the morning and play golf in the afternoon.
Our Golf Camp offers Level 1 & 2 programming. Campers will be assessed on the first day of camp and divided accordingly. Level 1 campers will learn all aspects of the game and focus on fundamentals. Level 2 programming will focus on these core fundamentals while introducing more challenging drills and game situations.
Note: Full Day Camp Offers Lunch Each Day! Campers should still come to camp with morning and afternoon snacks!

What Time Does Camp Start & End?
Children will meet at the Bathurst Glen Golf Course at 9:00 am each day and pick up 4:00 pm.
Is this Camp appropriate for a Beginner or Intermediate?
Our Full Day Camp welcomes golfers of all skill levels including beginners. However we do recommend that any junior that participates is able to walk a full 18 holes of golf while handling their golf equipment by carrying or using a push cart.
Should I Bring Clubs To Camp?
Clubs are available to use if needed and will be provided on a daily basis. If you do have clubs we suggest that you bring them. We offer a club fitting service for each camper during the week.
What Happens if it Rains?
The Camp runs rain or shine. We will monitor the weather on a daily basis and provide programming accordingly. In a light rain we may continue with outdoor activities (bring a rain jacket) but if the weather is inclement we have created programming for indoors. (Leadership Skills, Trivia, Golf Movies, Indoor Putting Tourney etc.)
Can my child be in the Same Group as their friend or sibling?
We try to accommodate all requests. Please let us know upon sign up any group requests.

David Fritz Golf Academy
David is the Director of Instruction at Bathurst Glen Golf Course and will set the curriculum, direct the activities, hire and train camp staff.
He has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained progressive experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors.
Throughout this time, David has maintained a Board of Director’s position with the Canadian Junior Golf Association. He has played an integral role in the development of junior golf in Canada through developmental programs, regional, national and international events.
David is a highly regarded coach and teacher. Through his training and experiences David brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. He is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner and assist students achieve their goals.
It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students successes. He is committed to providing a positive learning environment and experience for all students while improving all aspects of their game. Students will welcome David’s warm personality and passion for the game of golf.
