The David Fritz Golf Academy is excited to expand our Linkster Golf Camp program at the Tee Zone Driving Range in Oakville. Our Award Winning Camp will offer more weeks and times during our summer session. These fun and exciting golf camps are open to children 6 – 13 years of age and offer golf instruction and activities under the guidance of a PGA of Canada professional. Children will enjoy learning the fundamentals of the game in a fun environment. These camps are nationally recognized and endorsed by the Canadian Junior Golf Association and use the Four Stage Learn to Play development program outlined by Golf Canada. Campers will receive a Puma hat at the end of the week based on the level they complete in their stage of development. What better way to get into the game.
The Linkster Golf Camp offers Level 1 & 2 programming. Campers will be assessed on the first day of camp and divided accordingly. Level 1 campers will learn all aspects of the game and focus on fundamentals. Level 2 programming will focus on these core fundamentals while introducing more challenging drills and game situations.
Our Academy will offer Morning and Full Day Golf Camps. Morning camps will run from 9 am-12 pm. For those wishing a full day option the Shoot n' Swing and Golf & Sport Camp is available through the town of Oakville.

What Time Does Camp Start & End?
Children will meet at the Tee Zone Driving Range at 9:00 am each day and pick up is for 12:00 pm.
Is this Camp appropriate for a Beginner or Intermediate?
Our Linkster Camp welcomes golfers of all skill levels including beginners. The camp offers a Level 1 & Level 2 based on the child's current skill level.
Should I Bring Clubs To Camp?
Clubs are available to use if needed and will be provided on a daily basis. We offer a club fitting service for each camper during the week. During the program we encourage the use of junior specific equipment that assists the learning process.
What Happens if it Rains?
The Camp runs rain or shine. We will monitor the weather on a daily basis and provide programming accordingly. In a light rain we may continue with outdoor activities (bring a rain jacket) but if the weather is inclement we have created programming for indoors. (Leadership Skills, Trivia, Golf Movies, Indoor Putting Tourney etc.)
Can my child be in the Same Group as their friend or sibling?
We try to accommodate all requests. Please let us know upon sign up any group requests.
Children Should Come to Camp with the Following:
- Suntan lotion
- Water Bottle
- Spring/Rain Jacket
- Golf Clubs (provided if needed)
- Comfortable shoes

Tee Zone Driving Range – 4105 Bronte Rd. Oakville, Ontario
The Tee Zone Driving Range is a new state of the art practice and learning facility conveniently located on Bronte Rd. just north of Hwy 407.
With over 65 hitting stations and an area that is 300 yards in length, Tee Zone has the capacity to provide a high quality environment for these camps. The facility has an integrated short game area and putting green that allows players to work on chipping, pitching, sand shots and putting on there 5600 sq ft USGA spec bent grass putting green.
David Fritz Golf Academy
David is the Director of Instruction at the Tee Zone Driving Range and will set the curriculum, direct the activities, hire and train camp staff.
He has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained progressive experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors.
Throughout this time, David has maintained a Board of Director’s position with the Canadian Junior Golf Association. He has played an integral role in the development of junior golf in Canada through developmental programs, regional, national and international events.
David is a highly regarded coach and teacher. Through his training and experiences David brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. He is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner and assist students achieve their goals.
It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students successes. He is committed to providing a positive learning environment and experience for all students while improving all aspects of their game. Students will welcome David’s warm personality and passion for the game of golf.
