Meet David Fritz, PGA of Canada
David has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors. He is a Board member of the Canadian Junior Golf Association and is very active in developing junior golf in this country. David also played competitive golf at the University of Akron in Ohio.
David is a results oriented coach. He incorporates swing essentials, golf biomechanics and game strategies into his teaching. He has developed progressive training programs for men and women of all abilities and has created introductory and high performance programs for juniors. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his students and is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner while assisting them achieve their goals.
It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students succeed. David provides golf lessons and golf instruction that is tailored to your personal needs. He is committed to providing a positive learning experience for all students. while improving all aspects of your game. Students will welcome David’s warm personality and passion for the game of golf.

Shawn Aucoin, Academy Instructor
Formerly a PGA of Canada member for over 20 years. Prior to becoming a founding partner of Sligo Wear golf apparel brand he spent his time instructing golf at the Devil’s Golf Pulpit in Caledon, Ontario under the mentorship of Canadian Hall of Fame member Ben Kern. Shawn enjoys passing on his passion and knowledge of the game to everyone he teaches.
Rob Hickson, PGA of Canada
As a PGA of Canada member with over 25 years of experience as a Professional, Rob has honed his trade at some of Ontario’s finest private and public golf facilities. His commitment to the development and positive learning experience for his students is paramount in creating customized programs with his students goals in mind. These personal programs will be developed with a focus on swing mechanics, the short game and essential course management strategies designed specifically for the achievement of his students personal goals and objectives
Adam Hunter, PGA Of Canada
Adam has been a PGA Candidate for Membership for 3 years and expects to become a ‘Class A’ professional by 2019, however, his experience in the golf industry extends well beyond that. Adam has been working at Golf Canada in junior development for almost 7 years and currently holds the title of Manager, Grow the Game. His passion for helping the future of Canadian Golf started when he was playing in CJGA, GAO and Golf Canada junior tournaments as a kid.
Taylor Smith, Lead Instructor
Growing up playing the game of golf from the age of four, Taylor has developed a passion for the game that he brings to his students. Taylor began his path working in the golf industry in 2008 and has been surrounded by top level coaches and PGA professionals throughout his entire career. Twelve years later, Taylor has gained a great deal of experience teaching private lessons, group clinics and junior camps. Taylor has developed a fun an inviting teaching style for all golfers. Taylor believe in solid fundamentals in order to develop a successful swing. Building the correct precursors in a simple yet enjoyable way is a true passion of Taylor's. Seeing his students improve and play well is why Taylor teaches the game of golf.
Hap Gill, Academy Instructor
Hap has been playing the game of golf for over 25 years and is an accomplished player and coach. Hap is a certified golf instructor with a degree in Kinesiology from York University. Hap is great with beginners and golfers that want to improve on their existing skills. Hap is a certified mental golf coach and has gained his Trackman University certification. Hap is a natural coach and loves to see his students get better and enjoy the game of golf.
Aaron Nemtean, Academy Instructor
Aaron has been involved in the game of golf for over 15 years. He has a deep passion for the game of golf and maintains a high level of playing ability. Through his training and development he has gained a great deal of knowledge about the game of golf. He enjoys teaching and seeing his students successes. He was named ‘Golfer of the Year’ from his High School team. He has his BA from the University of Western Ontario and is currently pursuing a career in law.
David Georgievski, PGA of Canada
Almost completely self-taught, David understands how to build a swing from the ground up. Focusing on solid fundamentals, he enjoys working with beginner and intermediate players who are looking to gain speed, improve their ball striking, and dial in their accuracy. David enjoys a simple and straight forward approach to the game, and coaches in a similar easy to understand way. He strives to help build a swing that feels comfortable, consistent, and unique to each of his students.
Michael Hanna, PGA of Canada
Mike is a PGA of Canada member. MIke most recently apprenticed at DiamondBack Golf Club. Mike has a natural ability to connect with his students, which helps him understand their mental and physical approach to the game. He uses this knowledge to provide a very personalized and simple approach when teaching his students. Mike places strong emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of the golf swing, the short game, and golf course management strategies.
