Meet David Fritz, PGA of Canada

David Fritz PGA Golf Professional

David has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors. He is a Board member of the Canadian Junior Golf Association and is very active in developing junior golf in this country.  David also played competitive golf at the University of Akron in Ohio.

David is a results oriented coach. He incorporates swing essentials, golf biomechanics and game strategies into his teaching. He has developed progressive training programs for men and women of all abilities and has created introductory and high performance programs for juniors. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his students and is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner while assisting them achieve their goals.

It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students succeed. David provides golf lessons and golf instruction that is tailored to your personal needs. He is committed to providing a positive learning experience for all students. while improving all aspects of your game. Students will welcome David’s warm personality and passion for the game of golf.

David Georgievski, PGA of Canada

Almost completely self-taught, David understands how to build a swing from the ground up. Focusing on solid fundamentals, he enjoys working with beginner and intermediate players who are looking to gain speed, improve their ball striking, and dial in their accuracy. David enjoys a simple and straight forward approach to the game, and coaches in a similar easy to understand way. He strives to help build a swing that feels comfortable, consistent, and unique to each of his students.

Michael Landriault, PGA of Canada

Michael has been a member of the PGA of Canada for 7 years. Prior to becoming a Secondary School Teacher, he spent his time instructing golf at the Devil’s Pulpit Golf Association in Caledon, Ontario. He has a passion for golf and providing valuable education to students to improve all aspects of their game. He works diligently to create an enjoyable and engaging learning environment on and off the course.

 

Adam Hunter, PGA Of Canada

Adam has been a PGA Candidate for Membership for 3 years and expects to become a ‘Class A’ professional by 2019, however, his experience in the golf industry extends well beyond that.  Adam has been working at Golf Canada in junior development for almost 7 years and currently holds the title of Manager, Grow the Game.  His passion for helping the future of Canadian Golf started when he was playing in CJGA, GAO and Golf Canada junior tournaments as a kid. 

Dawn Pentesco,  LPGA Instructor

An instructor for Links for Women for Score Golf Magazine since 2006, Dawn also regularly attends seminars such as Hank Haney Teach the Teacher and LPGA and PGA events. She studied golf under Ben Kern, former PGA Tour player, Shelley Woolner, known for the television show Acura Golf, Mark Moore, a Senior Instructor for Hank Haney and Tom Jackson, a former Tour Player and founder of Core Golf with Sean Foley. Dawn is one of only 30 LPGA Professionals in Canada and has her Class A status.

Kory Helowka, Academy Instructor

After playing professional hockey for 8 years Kory decided to turn his passion for golf into a career. A natural coach, Kory brings a very honest and easy to understand method of teaching for players of any skill level. Kory knows what it takes to get better. He only started taking the game of golf seriously when he was 21. Kory spent this past off season coaching in New Zealand. Kory works out of our Diamondback location.

Aaron Nemtean, Academy Instructor

Aaron has been involved in the game of golf for over 15 years. He has a deep passion for the game of golf and maintains a high level of playing ability. Through his training and development he has gained a great deal of knowledge about the game of golf. He enjoys teaching and seeing his students successes. He was named ‘Golfer of the Year’ from his High School team. He has his BA from the University of Western Ontario and is currently pursuing a career in law.

Shawn Aucoin, Academy Instructor

Formerly a PGA of Canada member for over 20 years. Prior to becoming a founding partner of Sligo Wear golf apparel brand he spent his time instructing golf at the Devil’s Golf Pulpit in Caledon, Ontario under the mentorship of Canadian Hall of Fame member Ben Kern. Shawn enjoys passing on his passion and knowledge of the game to everyone he teaches.
