Meet David Fritz, PGA of Canada
David has been a PGA of Canada Professional for over twenty years. Throughout the various stages of his career, he has gained experience at some of the finest golf clubs in the Greater Toronto Area. He has had the opportunity to work with world-class golf professionals, top coaches and instructors. He is a Board member of the Canadian Junior Golf Association and is very active in developing junior golf in this country. David also played competitive golf at the University of Akron in Ohio.
David is a results oriented coach. He incorporates swing essentials, golf biomechanics and game strategies into his teaching. He has developed progressive training programs for men and women of all abilities and has created introductory and high performance programs for juniors. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his students and is able to communicate that knowledge in a simplistic manner while assisting them achieve their goals.
It is quite apparent that David loves teaching golf and seeing his students succeed. David provides golf lessons and golf instruction that is tailored to your personal needs. He is committed to providing a positive learning experience for all students. while improving all aspects of your game. Zac Henderson, PGA of Canada
Zac has a tremendous amount of passion for the game of golf and it has shown in his work for nearly ten years. Entering his 9th season as a PGA of Canada Professional, Zac is an experienced Teaching Professional with a high level of enthusiasm to improve the games of others. Tailoring his instruction to each individual, Zac prides himself in creating a fun and positive learning environment for his students. Chima McLean, PGA of Canada
Chima's engaging and creative teaching style allows him to coach and relate as easily with beginners as with tour professionals. He has been a member of the PGA of Canada since 1988 and has all the PGA teaching credentials. Chima was one of 3 finalists nominated for 2006 Ontrrio PGA Teacher of the Year. Chima is also a former instructor at the PGA accredited Program at Humber College. He spent 5 years honing his playing skills as a Member of the Canadian Tour, playing with high profile players such as Mike Weir, Ian Leggatt and Steve Stricker. Chima is the winner of 4 Ontario PGA Professional Events.
Kory Helowka, PGA of Canada
After playing professional hockey for 8 years Kory decided to turn his passion for golf into a career by becoming a PGA professional. A natural coach, Kory brings a very honest and easy to understand method of teaching for players of any skill level. Kory knows what it takes to get better. He only started taking the game of golf seriously when he was 21. After a lot of hard work became a PGA professional. Kory has taken his teaching to the next level by equipping himself with the latest Trackman 4 technology. Kory teaches out of our Aurora location.
Trevor Brodie, PGA of Canada
Trevor is a highly regarded PGA of Canada, Class “A” Professional. He has over 20 years of experience in the private and public golf sectors, at premier facilities in Canada and the US. Since turning professional, Trevor has had the privilege of learning the game’s intricate details from top professionals in the game.
Trevor has instructed hundreds of clinics and over a 1000 lessons to men, women and kids of all ages and abilities. He’s managed/facilitated a junior program for 100+ kids for 7 seasons at one of the top private clubs in Canada. Remaining current and up to date with golf technology, he is proficient in the latest TrackMan and FlightScope programs.
Michael Landriault, PGA of Canada
Michael has been a member of the PGA of Canada for 7 years. Prior to becoming a Secondary School Teacher, he spent his time instructing golf at the Devil’s Pulpit Golf Association in Caledon, Ontario. He has a passion for golf and providing valuable education to students to improve all aspects of their game. He works diligently to create an enjoyable and engaging learning environment on and off the course.
Jakob Montemurro, PGA of Canada
Jakob brings a wealth of experience as a competitive player on amateur and Professional Levels. Jakob enjoys working with golfers of all abilities and levels, allowing a player to discover their fullest golfing potential. An appropriate coaching plan will be created assessing a player’s strengths and weaknesses, maximizing an individual’s ability to get the most out of playing their game.
Chris Soliman, Camp Instructor
Christopher is an aspiring golf professional. Since Chris was a kid, he has been playing the game of golf. Picking up the game at 3 years old, he grew a fascination for the game of golf. When Chris started playing tournament golf, he soon realized that he had fallen in love with the game. At the David Fritz Golf Academy, Chris teaches the short game portion of the junior camps. Chris has a passion for the game and is very enthusiastic when teaching it to others. He is able to provide a fun and friendly teaching experience for the player.
Brad Cripps, Camp Instructor
Brad got his first set of clubs at the age of 8 but didn't start taking golf seriously until 6 years later. In 2013 he joined the CJGA to experience tournament play and has become more focused on his game ever since. Brad assisted at the our summer camps last season and is looking forward to expanding his role this summer. On his own time, he can be found at Osprey Valley or Guelph Lakes golf courses. He is always trying to improve his game along with helping others with theirs. And of course, having fun and developing friendly relationships along the way.
